I have worked in mental health counseling for the past 15 years in many different settings: direct care staff in a residential setting, intensive in-home counselor, therapeutic day treatment counselor, and a therapist in a 45-day crisis stabilization setting. I enjoy working with children, teenagers, and families. I recently received my certification as a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor and have worked as a play therapist for many years. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength based, and Client-centered interventions in my work with children and adolescents. I include family members in sessions and collaborate with other professionals involved, such as psychiatrists, PCP, and school guidance counselors in order to maximize the benefits of services. I am originally from Ivory Coast, West Africa, and speak French fluently. I received a bachelor's degree in both Psychology and Criminal Justice from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia. My master's degree is in Forensic Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, Illinois. I enjoy learning and watching documentaries and movies about law enforcement. Some of my favorite activities involve traveling, discovering new places, and spending time with friends and family. I offer telehealth and in person counseling sessions. I look forward to working with you and your family!
